Like most Americans, the first Radiohead song I ever heard was "Creep". Soon after seeing the video on MTV for the dozenth time on "Alternative Nation" (the nightly version of 120 Minutes only not quite so daring) I bought their debut album, Pablo Honey. It was a promo cassette with different cover art and a little write-up of the band in the liner notes for the DJ to read over the air while playing "Creep" and "Anyone Can Play Guitar" - the two recommended tracks.
I dug the album quite a bit but it was never one of my favourite albums. When The Bends came out, I was a tad off-put. The sound was too different and I missed the punk rock edge that Pablo Honey delivered. I didn't buy it. Nor did I buy OK Computer until about 3 years after it came out.
Late to the party, yes, but I became a big fan. Both The Bends and OK Computer became staples in my 5 disc changer. From that point on, I've purchased the new Radiohead albums as soon as they come out. I've also got some singles and EPs to fill in the gaps.
             Radiohead Album Mini-Reviews

Pablo Honey
  1993

A great catchy punk rock debut with crunchy guitars and whiny rock star vocals. The brilliance that will soon emerge is still hidden here but that doesn't prevent the album from being fun.
Best song: Creep     Worst song: Lurgee
My Iron Lung
  1994
This 8 song EP nicely fills the gap between albums. The rhythms are much more intricate and the vocals are venturing closer to the magnificent heights they'll reach on The Bends.
Best song: The Trickster     Worst song: Lozenge of Love
The Bends
  1995
Buckle the fuck up. This is where Radiohead really begins to kick ass. There isn't a bad song on this album. There isn't really even a mediocre one. It only loses half a skull in comparison to what follows.
Best song: Street Spirit (Fade Out)     Worst song: Bullet Proof... I Wish I Was
O.K. Computer
  1997
Musical perfection. This album is just haunting and deeply intricate and beautiful. The Bends is a perfect album and this one is somehow better in every way.
Best song: Climbing Up The Walls     Worst song: Electioneering
How's My Driving
  1998
This EP contains Airbag and a half dozen songs that weren't awesome enough to be on OK Computer. They're not bad songs and the EP does have it's own flow but they were left off for a reason.
Best song: Polyethelene (Parts 1 & 2)     Worst song: Melatonin
Meeting People Is Easy
  1999
This DVD is a pretty worthless item. It's a pastiche of interviews, live snippets and behind-the-scenes of Radiohead on tour. There are no complete songs or videos on this item. It's an incomprehensible mess.
Best song: Thom lets the audience sing Creep     Worst song: The other 99% of this DVD
Kid A
  2000
My least favourite Radiohead album is really more a collection of experimental soundscapes than music. Some of it is great. Some of it is annoying.
Best song: Optimistic     Worst song: Treefingers
Amnesiac
  2001
Slightly more coherent and cohesive than Kid A, Radiohead's 5th proper album still finds them in their experimental soundscape phase.
Best song: Packt Like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box    Worst song: Like Spinning Plates
I Might Be Wrong
  2001
Radiohead's live album contains one new song. Hearing Kid Amnesiac stuff live is fun and interesting but not as fun or interesting as their studio material.
Best song: True Love Waits     Worst song: Idioteque (live)
Hail to the Thief
  2003
I liked this album immediately. It takes the best parts of the Kid Amnesiac experiment and applies that new knowledge to the old OK Computer style creating something new and rad.
Best song: A Punchup at a Wedding     Worst song: The Gloaming
