Here she is asleep on Daddy after drinking 2 entire ounces of formula all at once. She had been fussy for Susan all day but as soon as I came home, she ate and then went right to sleep. We watched Seinfeld and Wheel of Fortune and King of the Hill and then some bad new show starring Jim Belushi and Courtney Thorne-Smith as a 21st Century bickering couple.

I was hoping she'd just keep sleeping so I could watch West Wing in peace but at 7:59 she woke up and needed a new diaper (which she promptly peed on, thus needing another) and then ate another 2 ounces before going back to sleep.

Here's a close-up of the little monster. I wish she was awake so you could all see her eyes. They're this really deep dark blue. Evidently all babies' eyes start that colour and then either lighten or turn brown.

You can see that she is still a little yellow-looking. That's quite normal for the first few days while the liver breaks down the excess red blood cells they're born with.
